MALAYSIAN WILL SUFFER WITH THE FUEL PRICE HIKE
Yesterday Pak Lah announced the pump price for petrol is now RM2.70 per litre and diesel RM2.58 a litre following a cut in the fuel subsidy. Majority Malaysian is not satisfied with the decision made by Pak Lah.
I think the hike of oil prices cannot be prevented as it is the global trend, but does the govt realise the burden of the rakyat? We do notice that every time after a general election, there’d be a hike in the prices of fuel and electricity. Yesterday, it was said that the price adjustment will be in August, suddenly the hike took effect after midnight. How will the rakyat cope?
The govt should’ve implemented the hike gradually so that it will be easier on us and it allows the poor to adjust better. It is easy for Pak Lah and his govt to say to ration because they don’t pay for the fuel. It is paid by us taxpayers anyway. I hope there will be CHANGE or we Rakyat will suffer like the Africans!
Our current government is good for nothing except adding burden to us. To me and majority of the rakyat, this government’s action or game plan is an act of punishment to rakyat for electing them back to the parliament. Call me naive or whatever, but I cannot imagine how my family (my mom, sisters, the rest of rakyat) would be able to cope with this price hike especially when it involves the primary consumable products like fuel, electricity. Well, I congratulate pak lah and his government for burdening us with this hike.
I will not be surprised if there is an increase in violence, crime rate and depression in tandem.
I’m attracted to add that the ministers should lead by example. They should start to change their lifestyle and show that they are also impacted by the fuel hike. But that will only happen in my dreams, hahahaha
For us the rakyat, we have no choice but to try to cope with the fuel hike. For sure, my lifestyle will change, stop spending on not so important things. Focus on how to make extra money in my consultation business and hopefully InsyAllah, my family & I will be able to cope with the incoming inflation.

There r a lot of burdening style that were going around us. Is it true to just advice to all of us only by saying “ubah gaya hidup”? How about their “gaya hidup”?
dear hamka… i have to disagree with you (sarcastically) the fuel price hike do not burdens the rakyat as inside Pak Lah head is the rakyat can pee on their gas tank if they drink a lot of mineral water and the car can move… mineral water are cheap currently and during election time we can assure you that BN are not satisfied with the voices of the rakyat so… Pak Lah intelligently hike the fuel price so that the rakyat can learn to save their pee and fill their gas with it… i son even know what i;m saying but Pak Lah said for those underpaid workers they do not have to worry as they are a lot of grass and mud to be consumed as food when they are hungry hidup BN! Pak Lah best~!!
